Welcome to Tamarind Dhow Cruise and Excursion in Mombasa. You will experience the ultimate magical cruise meal onboard authentic Arab-style dhows (Nawalikher and Babukher), which was once used for cargo trading along the Kenyan Coast and to the Arab States. The Dhows have been completely refurbished as floating restaurants, without losing any of the traditional aspects of the original Dhow. They are now moored at the Mombasa Tamarind jetty.

Onboard, guests have the unique opportunity to enjoy an array of activities ranging from a perfect combination of luscious food, music, and romantic atmosphere. The Tamarind Dhows Nawalikher and Babukher depart from the world famous Tamarind Restaurant either at lunch time (12.00 pm) or dinner time (6.30 pm). After a welcome cocktail, you will sail smoothly past the Old Town towards Fort Jesus and the peaceful creeks of Mombasa, and end up in a quiet spot where you will enjoy a sumptuous, delicious seafood meal and dance under the stars to the lively rhythms of local bands that will frame the unforgettable scene forever.
