DAY 1

You will be picked from the hotel at around 7.00 am and driven to Watamu along Mombasa – Malindi highway, arriving at around 8.30 am. Arrive at Watamu where you will board a glass boat and sail for searching for dolphins in the Watamu Marine National Park where you will snorkel and swim or if you do not wish to swim then relax on the white sandy bank. The Park's coral reefs form the physical and biological heart of the area; over 150 species of hard and soft corals, such as brain corals, fan corals and sponges, provide the nutrients for the abundant fish.

The Park contains over 500 species of reef fish; the Reserve has over 1000 species. Due to this biodiversity, the Park is probably one of the best small parks in the world for its sheer variety. The Reserve is regarded by experts as one of the world's top diving areas, with whale sharks, manta rays, octopus and barracuda as some of the larger species encountered. Watamu is also a vital turtle breeding area, with an active turtle watch group. Although Green and Hawksbill turtles are the primary species, Olive Ridleys, Loggerheads and Leatherback turtles have been occasionally seen. You will have your lunch at Mida Creek with sea foods, lobster and Swahili dishes (If you don’t take sea food, other meals can be arranged for you). Enjoy Your lunch and relax a little before returning to Watamu for road transfer to Malindi and check-in at the residence for dinner and relaxing by the pool. You also have the option to take a free evening in Malindi if you don't want to have dinner at the residence.

DAY 2

You will be picked up from the residence in Malindi after breakfast at around 09:30 am for a guided visit to Vasco da Gama pillar where the guide will quickly take you through the history of the area and the construction of the pillar itself. From there, visit to the Sabaki River Delta and then to the golden beach of Mambrui and after to Gongoni to see the flamingos. Cross over by canoe to the beautiful Robinson Island for lunch with sea food, lobster and Swahili dishes (If you don’t take sea food, other meals can be arranged for you). At around 3:00 pm head to Hell's Kitchen Marafa to find out about the myth of this gorgeous sandstone canyon. Return to the Hotel in Mombasa in the evening.
