Activities

To begin your early morning tour, you will be driven along Mombasa-Nairobi highway on a scenic 2.5-hour drive through the busy highway. With a brief stop-over near the Bachuma gate, you will freshen-up and wait when you are being checked-in at the park by the driver/guide. Immediately start searching for wildlife animals. On the way take a pause, at the Aruba Dam to see groups of animals who visit the dam for drinking water. After lunch and a short rest at the lodge/camp, you will proceed for the next session of game drive viewing and in search for the man-eaters of Tsavo. In the evening return to your camp/lodge within the Tsavo East national park for dinner and overnight stay.

Next morning after an early breakfast, leave Tsavo East, heading to Amboseli national park, arriving in Amboseli camp in time for lunch and rest for a while. Start your game drive session proceeding to the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and its vast open savanna landscape, amazing wildlife, scenery and visiting local Masai cultures.

On your third day depart to Tsavo west from Amboseli, the drive uncover various facts about the famous Mzima springs and view fish, crocodiles, hippos and other aquatic animals from an underground observation tank. Take a stop at Shetani Lava to observe the spectacular lava flow from the volcanic eruption.

On the last day of your adventurous safari of 4 Days Tsavo East, Tsavo West & Amboseli, get on an early morning game drive experience then, depart with lunch at a stopover restaurant. Proceed over to Mombasa and you will be dropped at the hotel in the evening.

Day 1 – Tsavo East – 2hrs drive
You’ll be picked up from the hotel in the early morning to Tsavo East and enter into the park through Bachuma gate. Embark on game viewing upon entry in search for animals; leopards, cheetah, elephants, zebra, giraffes, buffalo etc. You will also visit Aruba Dam and the Kanderi Swamp area where a high concentration of animals may be found. Lunch at the Lodge/Camp. After lunch and a short rest at the lodge/camp, you will go for another session of game drive viewing within the Tsavo East national park till late. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp

Day 2 – Amboseli – 5hrs drive

Early breakfast then leaves the park with game drive viewing en-route arriving in Amboseli in time for lunch. check-in at the Lodge/Camp, enjoy lunch and have a rest. Afternoon game drive in search for animals within the Amboseli National Park famous known for its scenery with a backdrop of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Kilimanjaro also offers a scenic background for animal photography. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

Day 3 – Tsavo West – 3 hrs drive

Pre-breakfast, game viewing drive then return to your lodge for breakfast. You will then leave the park for Tsavo West National Park with game viewing en route and visit of Mzima Springs where you can see hippos and fish in crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys too. Enjoy lunch and relax within the Lodge/Camp before you depart for an afternoon game drive within the Tsavo West or even visit the rhino Sanctuary whereby if you are lucky you might see the black shy rhino, other animals likely to be seen here are; zebra, giraffe, buffalo, leopard, impala, lion, eland etc. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp.

 

Day 4 – Tsavo West / Mombasa – 3 hrs drive

Early breakfast, then proceed on for the morning game drive as you leave the park. Lunch at a stopover hotel. Later on, depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon.
