Activity

Begin your 3 Days Tsavo East Tour & Saltlick safari in the morning at 07.30am with your guide and 4×4 WD vehicle with all required support to enter the park through Bachuma Gate of Tsavo National park. Stop a while for stretching your legs and commence your game viewing drive in search of abundant flora and fauna. After lunch, you will have an afternoon game viewing. In the evening return back to the Lodge/camp in Tsavo National park for dinner and overnight staying.

Early in the next morning enjoy a few hours in the landscape to gather much more from paradise. Further, start your journey to Salt Lick Lodge situated in the heart of a private Taita Hills wildlife Sanctuary which lies adjacent to Tsavo National Park. After your lunch, an afternoon game drive viewing in search of Big four, rare wildlife species, ferocious man-eating lions, Leopard, attractive bird species and much more till 4:00 pm then you return to Saltlick lodge.

In the evening witness the wildlife gathering on the water-hole in search of drinking water from the lobby and terraced bar of Saltlick lodge. It also presents an exceptional vision and photographic opportunities to travellers. With the help of underground tunnel and bunkers with ground-level windows you can reach to the unbelievable closeness, yet safe access the variety of animals as they came to drink water.

To conclude 3 Days Tsavo East Tour & Saltlick Safari, at 16:00 hrs you will be dropped back at resort. On your way back to your hotel, meet the Maasai tribe in their village for an added experience

Day 1 – Tsavo East – 2h30 drive

Departure from the hotel at 07:30. Drive to Tsavo East National Park.

Enter the park through the Bachuma Gate and start your journey in search of animals such as lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hyena, etc. After lunch, you can watch a game match. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2 – Animal Sanctuary of Taita Hills – 1-hour drive

Before breakfast, take part in an early morning game in search of animals in Tsavo East National Park. You will then return to the lodge for breakfast and depart for the Taita Hills Shrine upon arriving at lunchtime. Enjoy an afternoon safari. Dinner and overnight at the Saltlick Game Lodge. This lodge (Saltlick) is a truly unique architectural concept, with luxurious oval-shaped rooms, overlooking a waterhole that attracts a large number of wildlife, especially elephants. In the evening, the animals gather at the water point, a spectacular site to drink at the edge of the trough.

Day 3 – Saltlick / Mombasa – 3 hours drive

Pre-breakfast, safari. Return to the lodge for breakfast and continue for another part of the search for lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, monkeys among many other animals. Later departure to Mombasa with lunch in a hotel for a stopover
