2 Day Tsavo East Tour originates early in the morning at 06:00 am. It is a journey of about 110 KM drive to Tsavo East National Park entering through ‘Bachuma’ gate for your mid-morning game drive. After reaching the full board Tsavo East lodge/camp you can refresh yourself and settle down for lunch as you prepare for your further Tsavo East Tour. Embark on a game drive in search of Elephants, the ferocious “man-eaters of Tsavo” the lions, Buffalos, Cheetahs, Giraffe, Antelopes, endangered hippos, observing the Galana River the 2nd longest river of Kenya and it’s Lugard falls. In the evening check-in for your dinner and overnights stay at the Tsavo East lodge/camp.
Next day early in the morning you start your safari looking for herds of red elephants near the waterholes, the famous Aruba dam where lots of game could be found, lots of birding life. You will have an option of passing through a Masai village on your way back to Mombasa. The distance between Mombasa and Tsavo East National Park ‘Bachuma’ entry gate is about 110 Kms, That’s about 2½ hours depending on traffic.

 

Day 1 – Mombasa / Tsavo East trip – 2 and half hrs drive

You will be picked up from the hotel early in the morning by a professional safari tour driver guide and drive along the main Mombasa-Nairobi road through the semi-arid country for your 2 days Tsavo East National Park safari. Enter the park through Buchuma Gate and embark on game safari viewing looking for animals as you head to the direction of your accommodation lodge/camp where you will check-in and enjoy lunch.
The afternoon safari tour within Tsavo begins at 16:00 hrs till late. Tsavo East National Park is one of the world’s greatest Kenya safari tour Sanctuaries noted for its vast elephant herds and a variety of wild animals including lions, leopards, cheetah, giraffe, buffalo and other plain game. Dinner and overnight at the lodge / Safari Camp.

 

Day 2 – Tsavo East / Mombasa trip

Pre-breakfast, proceed on to an early morning game drive in search for more animals. You will then return to the lodge/safari camp for breakfast after which you will check out and depart with a game drive en-route as you leave the park. Lunch will be served at a stop-over restaurant. Depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon.
